The Louisiana congressional district 5 election will be held on November 16. Since this is an open general election, the two top candidates from the primary will be on the ballot. Virginia Voters Go To The Polls November 5

On November 5, Virginia will hold elections for state and local offices. The polls are not looking good for republicans, but I would hope that would not discourage anyone from voting. Vote In The Alabama District 1 Primary Runoff November 5

Since no candidate received a majority of the vote in the district one primary to replace Jo Bonner, there will be a runoff election between Dean Young and Bradley Byrne on November 5. The winner will then proceed to the general election which will be held on December 17. Sarah Palin will be speaking at the Faith & Freedom Coalition's "Road To Majority" Conference on June 15. According to the announcement this "conference will energize, train, and equip our top activists and chapter leaders on voter registration, voter education, get-out-the-vote, lobbying their legislators, building a church and neighborhood organization, and utilizing social media to mobilize supporters." Top Of Virginia Ticket For 2013 Election Is Set

This past weekend, the Republican Party of Virginia held its nominating convention. At this convention the nominees for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general were selected. These candidates are Ken Cuccinelli, E. W. Jackson and Mark Obenshain. The remaining candidates for state and local offices in the general election to be held this fall will be selected in the primary to be held on June 11.
