Absentee Voting For 2011 Kentucky Election

October 21, 2011
The Kentucky election is November 8 and the deadlines for absentee voting are coming up quickly, so here are some dates to take note of.  Voters can apply to vote absentee from 10/21 until 11/7.  Voters may request paper absentee ballots because of medical emergency 10/26 until 11/8.  Applications for mail in absentee ballots must be returned on 11/1.  Military personnel confined to base on election day can apply to vote absentee in the clerk's office 11/1 until 11/7.

Voter Registration For Louisiana Ends October 19

October 17, 2011
  The deadline to register to vote in the November 19 Louisiana general election is October 19. The primary is October 22, so please vote if you live in that state.

Voter Registration For Oregon District 1 Primary Is October 18

October 17, 2011
The primary elections to decide who will run for the Oregon district one congressional seat previously held by David Wu will be on November 8.  In order to vote in this primary, those needing to register to vote must do so by October 18.

Voter Registration And Party Change Deadline For 2012 New Hampshire Is October 14

October 1, 2011
   Today Florida moved its 2012 presidential primary to January 31.  In response to this, other states that traditionally have early contests are moving their dates up as well.  New Hampshire has not set a date for its primary yet, however the candidate filing and voter registration deadlines have been announced.  If you need to change your party affiliation before the 2012 New Hampshire primary you must do this before October 14See the links below for more information.

Voter Registration Deadline For 2011 Mississippi General Election

September 30, 2011
The November 8 Mississippi general election is quickly approaching.  Individuals needing to register to vote must do it in person by October 8.  Mailed voter registration forms must be postmarked no later than October 9.  In-person absentee voting ends November 5 and mailed absentee ballots must be received no later than 5 pm on November 7.
