As I have written previously,  the candidates for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general were selected at the party convention in May.  This still leaves the state and local offices in which there is more than one candidate running.  The nominees for these races will be selected in the Republican primary to be held on June 11.      This  past weekend, the Republican Party of Virginia held its nominating convention.  At this convention the nominees for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general were selected.  These candidates are Ken Cuccinelli, E. W. Jackson and Mark Obenshain.  The remaining candidates for state and local offices in the general election to be held this fall will be selected in the primary to be held on June 11.
