The special election for Oregon's first congressional district to decide who will replace Representative Wu is coming up on January 31.  The voter registration deadline for this election is January 10.  If you live in this district please register if you need to and be sure to vote.  The seat held by Anthony Wiener in New York was won by a republican for the first time since 1923 so anything is possible.
