Sarah Palin: Mourdock For Indiana

Posted by Kal Vernon on Saturday, April 28, 2012, In : Elections
Governor Palin wrote the following on her Facebook page:
I join commonsense conservatives in endorsing Richard Mourdock to be the next Senator from Indiana. Conservatives of all stripes are uniting behind Richard Mourdock. It’s not just Indiana that benefits from sending the right Senator to serve for the right reasons; the nation as a whole benefits, and that is one reason why the eyes of so many around the nation are focused on the Indiana race.

Indiana deserves a conservative in ...

Sarah Palin: If I Wanted America to Fail, I’d Ban Kids From Farm Work

Posted by Kal Vernon on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, In : Sarah Palin
Governor Palin posted the following on her Facebook page:
The Obama Administration is working on regulations that would prevent children from working on our own family farms. This is more overreach of the federal government with many negative consequences. And if you think the government’s new regs will stop at family farms, think again.

My family is a commercial fishing family, and commercial fishing in Alaska is much like the family farm (but the year 'round farmers no doubt work ...

Texas Primary Voter Registration Deadline

Posted by Kal Vernon on Monday, April 23, 2012, In : Elections
The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming Texas primary is April 30.  The presidential primary on May 29 may go to a winner take all  delegate allocation system so it is very important that conservatives show up and vote in order to keep these delegates from Romney.  There will also be primaries for other offices on that same day.   See the links below for more information.

There Is No Campaign Strategy For 2012

Posted by Kal Vernon on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, In : Elections
In October 2011 I wrote a blog post  in which I expressed doubt that "Anybody But Obama" will be effective in actually defeating him. And so I was extremely dismayed to peruse the headlines and see this title "Conservatives Lawmakers OK With Lack Of Passion For Romney."  It has always been my opinion that Anybody But Obama was promoted by the GOP Establishment so that they could encourage support for Romney without any pesky check into his moderate policy positions. They believe ...

New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware Primaries April 24

Posted by Kal Vernon on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, In : Elections
On April 24, there will be primaries in New York, Delaware, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. With Rick Santorum's exit from the presidential race the GOP Establishment and the media are pushing the narrative the Republican nominee has been chosen. In fact this is not the case. Newt Gingrich is still in the race and Mitt Romney has not yet reached the 1144 delegates he needs to win the nomination.  Until he does, I encourage conservatives to keep voting for the non-Romne...

Sarah Palin: Dear America, Our Orwellian President Fails on Energy

Posted by Kal Vernon on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, In : Sarah Palin
Governor Palin posted this on her Facebook page April 17:
Last Friday, former energy trader and now Fox News host Eric Bolling and I hosted a Fox special called “Paying at the Pump,” which offered President Obama solutions to reduce prices at the pump and get our country on the path to real energy security.

A genuine “all of the above” approach to energy independence is, of course, a multifaceted plan. It includes conservation and sensible private sector investment in sound al...

Sarah Palin: “Paying at the Pump” Solutions to Relieve Pain at the Pump

Posted by Kal Vernon on Thursday, April 12, 2012, In : Sarah Palin
From Governor Palin's Facebook page:
Real energy solutions shall be presented! Please join Eric Bolling and me as we host an energy special this Friday, April 13th at 10pm ET on FOX called “Paying at the Pump.” We’ll present real solutions to solve our country’s rising energy prices and relieve America’s pain at the pump. And, yes, there are real solutions! We’ll discuss them and invite President Obama – in fact we’ll challenge the President – to adopt them for the go...

Sarah Palin: Happy Passover

Posted by Kal Vernon on Saturday, April 7, 2012, In : Sarah Palin
From Governor Palin's Facebook page:
Todd and I would like to wish our friends in the Jewish community a Happy Passover. Tonight Jewish families throughout the world will gather and ask, “Why is this night different from all other nights?” We can all reflect on the courage and faith inherent in the Exodus story and know that the Almighty hears the cries of those who suffer and leads them to freedom. Chag Sameach!

Sarah Palin: Good Friday: It’s About What’s Been Done For Us

Posted by Kal Vernon on Saturday, April 7, 2012, In : Sarah Palin
From Governor Palin's Facebook page:
May we all have a peaceful and reflective Good Friday and remember what this day is all about. For Christians, this is a day of forgiveness – the ultimate day of forgiveness and mercy. In a recent blog post, Bristol explained this by quoting a lyric from a song: “After all, it’s not about what you’ve done, it’s about what’s been done for you.” Good Friday is about what was done for us. At her Catholic blog, National Review’s Kathryn ...

Sarah Palin: We Remain Determined to Defeat Crony Capitalism

Posted by Kal Vernon on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, In : Sarah Palin
From Governor Palin's Facebook page:
Today we saw a small step forward in reform with the signing into law of the STOCK Act. Though many of us feel that the bill was watered down and thus could have been much stronger, this is at least a small step in the right direction. Obviously, there is still a lot more we need to do to combat government corruption (especially in addressing the rampant crony capitalism in our government’s executive branch, which we see so clearly on display i...

Quin Hilyer: This Race Is Far From Over

Posted by Kal Vernon on Monday, April 2, 2012, In : Elections
Despite the efforts of the GOP Establishment to proclaim Romney the winner and end the primary contests for the Republican nomination, Quin Hilyer wrote a detailed article in The American Spectator about why this race is not over yet.  Some excerpts:

No, no, no. The Republican presidential nomination really is not over despite the parade of rather craven endorsements now flowing Mitt Romney's way.
Before I go any further, a few words of explanation. Please bear with me. Part One of ...
